Mr. Ram Kaji Kone, also the former General Secretary of NCO, for establishing an endowment fund of NRs. 100,000.00 in June 2005 to annually award the best performer amongst the children of NCO in the School Leaving Certificate, Grade 10 exam conducted by His Majesty's Government of Nepal / Ministry of Education, the SAKALA DEVI KONE SLC GOLD MEDAL AWARD.

The award comprises a Gold Medal, Certificate of the Award and a Cash Prize of NRs. 5,000.00 to be awarded by the Chief Guest of the National Children's Day on Bhadra 4th (Nepali Calendar Date, usually falls in August of the English Calendar Year). International Child's Care Organization e.V., for contributing EUR 1,400.00 towards the cost of the publication of the 3,000 copies each of the NCO Table and Wall Calendars for the Nepali Year 2062 B.S.
