Nepal Children's Organization, Hawker Child Club has celebrated it's 4th anniversary in Bal Mandir at January 19, 2006 with various programs. The club organized various competitive programs (i.e. poem, speech, art & musical chair competitions) where more than a dozen child clubs were participated. The children from Naxal Children's Home performed various cultural programs on that occasion.
Addressing the program, the chief guest of this program Mr. Ram Krishna Chitrakar, General Secretary of Nepal Children's Organization, Central Executive Committee has expressed "Child sector was mostly effected by this present conflict, so government should make a special program for securing the life of child & their rights" he also added that Nepal Children's Organization always ready to contribute in developing hawker children and their capacity building.
Likewise, President of Hawker Child Club and chairperson of the program Miss. Hasina Banu requested to Nepal Children's Organization to help them in coming days for their development. Mrs. Reeta Singh Baidya, Chiarperson of NCO, Central Executive Committee said that the club should organized other various cultural and creative programs like this on future too. She also handover prizes to winner of various competitive programs.
